ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Georgia's lowered unemployment rate is good news to Moultrie Technical College Students.

Students talked to prospective employers at Moultrie Tech's Community Career Resource Fair. Close to 50 employers from around the Southeast are looking to hire new graduates.

The opportunity combined with the news of a lower unemployment rate has students excited to graduate and ready to pursue their career.

"I'm excited, because I'm really excited about going out there and pursuing the career that I've been trained to do," said Alanna Tillery, Moultrie Tech student.

"It gives them a lot of hope and lets them know areas they can go into and how to really find a job..and it gives them a lot of insight that there are jobs out there," said Tavia Peterson, Massage Therapist at Chiropractic Solutions.

Moultrie Tech is planning a job fair this fall at their Tifton campus.
