ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dennis Fenton, owner of Your Travel Connection on Dawson, has been charged with theft by the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say he was running a ponzi scheme through his business, and are asking other customers of his that may have been swindled to call.

Investigators say Fenton stole more than $17,000 from an elderly Dougherty County couple, saying he was going to book their dream vacation to Russia.

But the couple did not get the trip or a refund.

Fenton, 55, was charged and arrested.  Dougherty County Sheriff's Investigators say Fenton has admitted to the ponzi scheme, and are asking other customers who may have been conned to call 431-3222.
