THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Thomasville investigators are also looking into two other burglaries in the same neighborhood as the copper theft.

Monday night, burglars broke into houses on Allen and Pine Streets in Thomasville and stole TV's, DVD players and an XBOX.

Wilbert Sloane lives next door to the Pine Street victims and says they are just trying to make ends meet.

"Her and her husband just got laid off and they got four kids so it really puts a bang on them really. And they are really just trying to survive. Trying to pay their rent and light bill now."

Investigators encourage you always to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity or people in your neighborhood.
