A semi-truck overturned around 6:30AM, spilling most of it cargo of refrigerated food items.
It took rescue crews about an hour to extricate the driver.
The truck driver suffered serious injuries, and was taken to Crisp Regional Hospital.
Cleanup went on most of the morning, and the road should be cleared by 11:30AM.
Traffic was re-routed around the spill. GSP says the driver was headed to Florida, when he ran off the road onto the median. He overcorrected, and the truck tipped over.
Charges are pending.
