Leaders in an area school system want to hear from parents and other taxpayers as they put together a five-year strategic plan.
The Thomas County Board of Education is hosting a community education session Tuesday night in the Thomas County Central High School cafeteria.
Parents, business owners, and other community members are invited to identify current strengths in the schools and opportunities for improvement.
"What do we do well? What do you think we need to leave behind? What do you think today's challenges of our students are? Those types of things," said Human Resources Director Laine Reichert.
Tuesday night's session will run from 6 to 9.
A light dinner will be provided at no charge, but pre-registration is required.
