ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Two men in a green Toyota Camry fired shots in the 1200 block of Gillespie Avenue, Monday afternoon.
A 12-year old girl and her grandfather were outside their home.
One bullet went through the door.
Police believe the shooters were aiming at a group of men running between homes.
Police are tired of this kind of violence.
"Last night we had a four month old inside of a house that was shot and almost got hit and today a 12 year old nearly getting hit by a gunshot, that's not tolerable," said APD spokeswoman Phyllis Banks.
Police are still investigating whether the shooting was gang related.
