It was everything green at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church. Saturday was their annual St. Patrick's Day celebration.
The menu was traditional Irish foods like corn beef, cabbage with potatoes and Irish stew. The same recipe has been cooked for decades. About 150 people came out for the festivities.
Members say it's a great way to celebrate what St. Patrick has done.
"It was just a nice opportunity, since the name of our church is St. Patrick's. It's a great time for us to celebrate each other and everything that we do here. Also to raise money for local outreach at the same time," said Jay Weldon.
Weldon says St. Patrick was a great influence that brought the gospel and hope to the secular and pagan Ireland.
