ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Radium Springs Gardens is now back open after all the heavy rain caused flooding at the landmark.

After waters receded, the Dougherty County Public Works crews spent a lot of time cleaning the area and sprucing up the gardens.

Visitors are returning and say they like what they see.

"They enjoying themselves. a lot of people come out and say it still look beautiful, We did a lot of work to get it up and running again," said Reginald Cody.

Fresh straw was put down and after years of being dry, the blue hole near the actual springs looks great with water in it.
