THOMAS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

You can choose from thousands of native and exotic plants while supporting a south Georgia nature center.

Birdsong Nature Center's annual Old Timey Plant Sale features old garden plants, heirloom tomatoes, and organic herbs.

Most of the plants are donated from area nurseries and all proceeds benefit Birdsong.

"Most of the plants are native plants. Not all of the them, but most of them. Many of them are provided by local nurseries such as May Nursery in Quincy, Monrovia Nursery in Cairo, and my nursery, Trillium Gardens in Tallahassee," said Plant Provider Daniel Miller.

The sale starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Center on Meridian Road just outside Thomasville.
