was born into a military family and was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has also lived in Beaumont, Texas and Miami, Florida. For the last 12 years she lived in Mobile, Alabama the home of Mardi Gras.
Irisha graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Communication. While studying at USA, she interned at WALA. After three months, she was promoted to work there as a News Video Editor.
Irisha joined WALB's news team in March 2013 as a reporter.
In Irisha's spare time she likes to volunteer in community activities, try new restaurants and read. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
She is excited to start her dream career in Albany, Georgia (The Good Life City).
