The Hazmat Unit of the Albany Fire Department was called to Albany State just before noon today, for what turned out to be an odor that made some people nauseous, and not a chemical spill as was first thought.
Albany State officials will not say what the chemicals were.
Officers went to the third floor of the ACAD Building to a lab at the school to investigate was called a chemical spill in Rooms 125 and 130.
Two people were examined from Room 130, and another from Room 125.
The ACAD Building was soon evacuated. The all clear was given about 2:20, and everyone was allowed back inside.
