VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

News release from the Valdosta Police Department-

The Valdosta Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying two suspects for the March 1, 2013 robbery of Kirkland's, a home furnishing and décor store.

Store surveillance cameras caught images of the suspects. On March 1, 2013, an African American male described as having slight facial hair entered the store through the front door.

The male went to the back office, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the manager inside the office. No one was injured during the robbery. The male took an undisclosed amount of money and left through the front door.

The male was seen leaving the area in an easterly direction with another African American male who also entered the store. At the time of the robbery, Valdosta Police Department officers, detectives, and Lowndes County Sheriff's deputies responded to the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
