Naked man tazed in Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Police tazed a naked man who was running along one of the city's busiest roads during evening rush hour.

A viewer sent us this picture of 26-year-old David Mattison running on a sidewalk next to Slappey Boulevard.

Family members took Mattison to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for an evaluation after noticing strange behavior.

He left the hospital and went to Red Lobster where he was asked to leave.

Police say he then walked to Slappey and 3rd Avenue where he began to strip.

When he refused to stop for police, they tazed him near the intersection of Gillionville and Slappey.

Mattison was taken back to Phoebe for observation.

Police say he'll be charged with public indecency and possible other charges.
