LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) -
Lee county commissioners picked another interim County Administrator, Thursday, after their first choice withdrew because of health concerns.
County Commission Chairman Rick Muggridge told us Ocilla native Lynn Taylor will be the new interim administrator.
She served as Sumter County administrator for ten years after working in the Athens-Clark County government.
Jack Krakeel was named to the job last week, but then decided he couldn't take the job.
Muggridge says they are in no rush to find a permanent administrator.
"As we get the budget fine tuned, we'll begin that process to decide whether to hire professional help or go at it on our own or perhaps use one of the universities," said Muggridge.
County Administrator Tony Massey's last day is Friday. He's taking a job in Tennessee.
