ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Officials say two people are in custody at the Dougherty County Jail Thursday morning after an argument resulted in a woman getting stabbed overnight.
Police say 32-year-old Christy Hood was attacked and cut in the face with a pair of scissors around 10:30 Wednesday night during an argument at an apartment off Mayfair Lane in Northwest Albany.
One of her accused attackers, Reggie Jackson, not only ran from police but was hurt during the foot chase.
Jackson was finally caught down the street and taken into custody, along with another woman who was arrested in connection.
Jackson was taken to Phoebe for minor injuries before being taken to jail. Police say he is charged with aggravated assault and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

A woman was stabbed late Wednesday night in northwest Albany, and her accused attacker was hurt while running from police.
Police say a 32 year-old woman was cut in the face about 10:20 p.m. at 3807 Mayfair Lane Apartment B. They say it was a domestic dispute, and the woman was not seriously hurt.
Police caught the suspect after a foot chase during which they say he suffered a minor injury. He was taken to a hospital. A second person was also taken into custody for questioning in connection with the investigation.
