A Mitchell County School Bus driver is accused of driving his bus under the influence.

Camilla Police say 57 year-old John Wesley Harris passed out as he was dropping off students at Mitchell County High School just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

There's no evidence he was drunk, but police say he admitted taking over the counter medication that may have affected his driving ability.

The bus hit five cars in the school parking lot and two more across Highway 37. Some students jumped out of the back of the bus, but no students were hurt.

Harris was taken to the hospital.
