Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
Members of Saint Teresa's Spanish ministry say they are especially excited by the election of Pope Francis since he is from Argentina and is the first pope from any continent west of Europe.
One member told us he believes Francis will bring new attention to a part of the world that is vital to the Catholic Church.
"If people recall, Pope Benedict XVI said the future of the catholic religion is in Latin America and with this new pope coming from Latin America, It reflects where the future is going," said Juan Gaytan.
Francis is the first non-European pope in more than one thousand years.
