SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Sylvester detectives tell WALB that 20-year-old Mikah Moree of Sylvester went to the Sylvester Police Department this morning at 9:00 and confessed to taking two purses from Fletcher-Yearta Jewelry.

We showed you the surveillance video, which depicted Moree and a minor inside the store yesterday.

She told detectives that she saw herself, and confessed to taking the property.

She is charged with shoplifting two Vera Bradley purses. She is free pending a decision by the business owner on the charges.

A 13-year-pold girl who was with Moree at the time is not charged.
