Former Americus-Sumter head coach finds a new gig - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

After a troubled exit at Americus Sumter former Panthers head football coach Michael Pollock has moved on to start a new career elsewhere.  

Pollock has been hired as the new head coach at region 7-6A Habersham Central in Mt.Airy,GA. The move coming five months after Pollock was fired by the Sumter County school board for allegedly kicking a player in the rear end at practice.

He was 14-11 in two years with the Panthers. Habersham Central finished 1-9 last season under then head coach Stuart Cunningham.
