Thomasville's Papa John's Pizza is holding a fundraiser for Jailah Armstrong today.
Jailah was diagnosed with a brain tumor last April, which turned out to be medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer.
Jailah has cancer cells in her spinal cord, and resulting surgeries have caused this once healthy and vibrant young lady to go from 104 pounds to 78 pounds. This dramatic weight loss further exasperates her condition.
But friends say that through it all, Jailah has not complained, and has been a blessing to all. Jailah offers encouragement, hope, and strength to her family.
Callers should mention the Jailah Armstrong Fund-raiser when ordering a pizza today, and Papa John's Says that 100% of net profits will be given to the family to help defray medical costs. The phone number is 229-228-7272. Papa John's is located at 1210 East Jackson Street.
