LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas man is arrested on warrants, suspected in a string of robberies.

Longview Police arrested 19-year-old Corey Gaylon Champion, serving him with three outstanding warrants for aggravated robbery.

Investigators say Champion robbed a Sonic Drive Inn on Gilmer road, Chanel Stop and Shop on Mobberly avenue, and a shoe store on Estes Parkway. In one instance Champion held a gun to a store clerks head.

Champion is held in the Gregg County Jail on bonds totaling $175-thousand dollars.
