ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Flavio Linn, who is currently in the Turner County Jail faces 14 charges, including fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, along with many other traffic violations.  He's also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A motorcyclist is in jail after a 2-county chase up I-75 ended with a crash Thursday.

Once it was over, deputies figured out why the guy was running. They say he was carrying large amounts of marijuana and a loaded gun.

Authorities say Around 10:30 am Flavio Joseph Linn was arrested after speeding at dangerously high speeds going North on Interstate 75.

Video from the Turner County deputy's car dash shows where the chase began and where it ended.

Linn sped around other vehicles as the deputy pulls out to catch another driver. The motorcyclist then picks up speed and the chase begins.

"Funny thing about the entire incident, the deputy actually pulled out to stop another vehicle that was speeding and I guess, guilty conscience got the best of him and he took off," said Sergeant First Class Garrett Five Ash.

Law Enforcement chased Linn on a Honda Motorcycle over 20 miles before crashing.

"I know he struck the back of one of the trooper's cars and I think he was just trying to get out of the box in," said Sheriff Andy Hester, Turner County Sheriff's office.

After crashing into the trooper's car, authorities say he came off of the motorcycle and hit the concrete wall that separates I-75.

Narcotics officers say he was carrying 3 pounds of hydroponic marijuana worth at least $15,000.

A loaded gun was also found on Linn and officials say they are still investigating previous warrants he has outside of Georgia.

Officials aren't sure where the suspect was planning to take or sell the drugs but they are still investigating that, as well.

Linn was taken to Crisp Regional Hospital but he is out and is being held at the Turner County Jail.
