UPDATE: Thomasville body identified

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

The Thomasville Police Department has identified the man found this morning behind the Baymont Inn and Suites as 52-year-old David Eason.

Investigators say Eason was reported missing last night to the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators still are not sure if foul play was involved and they are waiting for the results of the autopsy.

The Thomasville Police Department is assisted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The report of the body was called in at 9:30AM.
