Folks pedal to fight cancer

People pedaled in Albany to support south Georgians battling cancer, Thursday night.

The Cancer Coalition of South Georgia hosted its second RIDE for HOPE at Tony's Gym.

50 riders paid a minimum of $100 to take this special spinning class.

The money goes to cancer education, research and screening for South Georgians.

One rider told us he lost his grandmother, cousins and friends to cancer and that's his motivation.

"I will be riding hard for every one of them. They will be in my mind as I'm up there riding and working hard. I will be thinking of them while I'm riding," said ride Scott McDaniel.

All donations from the event will directly benefit cancer patients in South Georgia.
