TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

You can enjoy a play written by one of America's greatest playwrights this weekend in south Georgia.

The stage is set at ABAC for Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie.

The play focuses on a family from Mississippi trying to make ends meet in Depression-era St. Louis.

ABAC doesn't have a theater program but The Baldwin Players put on two plays per year.

The director of the group says there is plenty of acting talent on campus.

"A lot of our students come here and they've acted in high school, with their high school plays or they've been involved in drama clubs," said Dr. Brian Ray.

You can see The Glass Menagerie each night through Saturday at seven o'clock at Howard Auditorium.

Admission is $5 for the general public.

ABAC students, faculty and staff get in free.
