Vienna woman faces counterfeiting charges

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Cynthia Ann Daniels, the wife of the Mayor of Vienna has been indicted on passing counterfeit money charges.

The government says that in February, Daniels knowingly passed 28 fake bills, four one-hundred dollar bills, four fifties, and 20 twenties into the account of the McDonald's at the Bank of Dooly in Vienna.

She pled not guilty in Macon federal Court. She is free on $10,000 bond. Her attorney Johnnie Graham.
