OMEGA, GA (WALB) -

A Omega child is recovering at a Macon hospital after she was hit by a car, twice.

Thursday night, Omega Police identified the child as 3 year-old Emma Moore. She was with Tracey Carroll and another child Wednesday, eating at Susie Q's Restaurant.

Police say Carroll believed both children were in the car when she backed it up. She hit little Emma and then pulled forward, rolling over her again.

Carroll took her back to Omega Day Care and then transported the child to the hospital.

She was airlifted to a Macon hospital.
