Valdosta Police have few clues as they search for whoever broke into a popular fast food restaurant early this morning.
The owner of Hip Hop Fish and Chicken on Patterson Street says in the ten years he's been in business this is the first time his restaurant has been burglarized.
Around 1:30 a.m. this morning, a thief broke through the glass door and stole hundreds of dollars from the cash register.
The burglar swiped one entire cash drawer and damaged both registers.
"The person that took you know, could do like I did and go out and look for a job. That's why it makes me mad," said restaurant cook, Leon Jefferson Jr.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage but say it's too blurry to give a description of the thief. If you have any information on the crime, Valdosta Police ask you to call 229-293-3145.
