BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

70-year old Claude Shirley is back at work, but still dealing with nine stitches in the back of his mouth, four stitches to the back of his head, and a concussion.

"It made me pretty mad. I was actually gone from the store when it happened and my dad is 70 years old. For somebody to do that to a senior citizen is pretty bad," said Shirley's Son Ryan.

Surveillance video shows the wanted assailant punching store owner Claude Shirley in the face before walking away.

Investigators say the assailant was arguing with Shirley over the price of a Rolex before they both walked outside and Shirley was punched.

"When he was leaving he said something on the way out the door. My father followed him out the door and told him to go ahead and go and he turned around and hit my father which completely knocked him out," said Ryan Shirley.

Here you can see the assailant walking around the store before approaching Shirley about the Rolex.

"Started cursing and saying it was too much and my dad asked him to go ahead and just leave," said Ryan Shirley.

Investigators say the assailant fled in this truck, but has not been located.

"I'm hoping somebody will recognize them. Affordable asphalt was written on the side of the truck. I think they are traveling around. It had Iowa tags on the truck. I think they are traveling around redoing people's driveways," said Ryan Shirley.

Investigators say they think the truck was a black Ford F-150 or F-250 and had equipment in the bed.

If you recognize the man in the video, call investigator Ryan Deen with Bainbridge Public Safety at 726-1536.
