(RNN) - Bradford police in the United Kingdom were left flabbergasted this weekend when a man dressed as Batman brought a wanted criminal into the police station to turn him in.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Stan Worby, 39, works as a food delivery driver and had a friend who wanted to turn himself into police.

Worby said he was at a soccer game on Feb. 24 dressed in the Batman costume when 27-year-old Danny Frayne called to ask for a ride to the police station.

"I told him as soon as I was home I would run him to Bradford central police station," Worby said to the Telegraph.

As soon as they got to the station, Worby announced, "I've caught this one for you," before disappearing into the night.

The incident was captured on CCTV and images were released on the Bradford police Facebook page.

Frayne has been charged with handling stolen goods and fraud-related offenses and will appear in court on March 8.

Worby told the Telegraph there's a possibility he'll do more crime fighting in the future.
