CAIRO, GA (WALB) -
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says that 38-year-old Jacinto Olguin was the shooter in a Cairo double murder suicide from last month.
Officials were called to a home at 1019 8th Avenue NE in Cairo Saturday night February 16.
Agents say Olguin, 57 year-old Jose Reyes Beltran and 39-year-old Aliro Ramirez died from gunshot wounds.
Agents say Olguin shot the other two, then turned the handgun on himself.
"It's definitely a shock to the community because most of these people, the Mexicans here they are very gentle people. They are very friendly people. They are good people in general," says friend Al Rocuant.
Jose Reyes Beltran and Aliro Ramirez died at the scene. Jacinto Olguin died at Grady General Hospital.
Agents say they still don't have a motive at this time.
