March will be a busy month at the Albany Civic Center.
Tickets are on sale now for several events including Saturday's R&B Soulfest 2 featuring Maze & Frankie Beverly, the Manhattans and Sir Charles Jones.
Next Saturday, the two-time defending league champion Albany panthers make their home debut against the Columbus Lions.
And later this month, Christian group Casting Crowns will perform.
Civic Center officials hope the events attract folks downtown and create a positive atmosphere.
"It's a great way to celebrate your community and uplift the community. The youth are our community and they're going to take care of us when we're all old and gray, so I think it's important to put a lot of time, effort and value into our youth," said Civic Center Director Suzanne Davis.
You can buy tickets for all those events at the Civic Center box office or through Ticketmaster.
