ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany State Golden Rams football team is looking to bounce back after a disappointing 6-4 2012 campaign.

Spring practice kicked off two days late due to flooded practice fields, but the team was back at it Wednesday.

Despite losing three of his offense's heavy hitters, QB David Kooi, RB Nathan Hoyte, and WR Ronnie Tubbs, Golden Rams Head Coach Mike White believes the team should be able to improve upon last year's record.

"Losing all three of those guys, it's really going to be an uphill battle," White says. "I do like where we are, who we recruited, and I think we'll come in and be a little better squad."
