THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -
A south Georgia business has to repair several thousand dollars worth of damage caused by a reckless driver.
Police think 21-year old Desirae Rollins was chasing another car on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Thomasville around midnight Friday night when she spun out of control.
Her car struck 57-year old Johnny Everett's SUV which then crashed through this fence at Gross Vault and Monument and hit these trucks.
"Leaving the scene of an accident is very bad. That's bad. It shows no respect for human life, someone who may have gotten hurt. So leaving the scene is very bad on anyone who does it and you don't get any breaks for doing that kind of stuff," said Lt. Eric Hampton.
Rollins is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, aggressive driving, reckless driving, and following too close.
