ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany native returned home to perform for music lovers at the Museum of Art.

Robert Sharpe and his wife, Diana played for the Symphony at the Museum event.

Not only was Robert returning to his hometown of Albany to play, but it was also the couple's first concert together. He specializes in classical guitar, while she plays classical percussion, something Sharpe says is rare.

"It's special to me because I haven't played any solo music in Albany for about six years. And it's also special, because my wife has never played in Albany. It's just always good to be back home and play for people that really want to come out and hear me,"  said Robert Sharpe.

This was the third concert of a new chamber series at the Albany Museum of Art. The last concert of the series will be held on April 7th.
