Tabut wins Albany Marathon

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

It is a long way from Minnesota to South Georgia but Edward Tabut could probably run the entire trip.

Edward Tabut won the Albany Marathon Saturday morning.

The Coon Rapids, Minnesota resident completed the 26-mile course in 2:21:05.

Christopher Zablocki from Connecticut finished second 23 seconds behind Tabut.

Tabut says he just started running marathons last year and this is his 6th event.22-year old

Taylor Stephens from Savannah won the women's marathon with a time of 02:58.
