The Panasonic NI-FS900 2-in-1 Garment Steamer Combines Quickness of a Garment Steamer with the Smooth Finish of an Iron
CHICAGO, March 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic, a leader in consumer electronics technology, today announced the NI-FS900 2-in-1 Garment Steamer. The product's high temperature steam quickly removes wrinkles while the unique iron head design provides clothes with a beautiful iron finish. The NI-FS900 2-in-1 Garment Steamer is currently on display at the 2013 International Home + Housewares Show, which starts today and runs through March 5 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Show attendees can visit the Panasonic booth #L12505 Lakeside to see the company's complete line of home appliance products.
"Panasonic has combined the power of a steamer with the power of an iron head for our new 2-in-1 Garment Steamer," said Nicholas Monaco Product Manager, Small Appliances, Panasonic Consumer Marketing Company of North America. "Panasonic is dedicated to enhancing the consumer experience when they choose to use our home appliance products. By combining the top qualities of both an iron and a traditional garment steamer, we are creating a powerful hybrid that serves multiple purposes for the consumer."
Users can choose to use the NI-FS900 2-in-1 Garment Steamer as a traditional vertical steamer, steaming articles of clothing or drapery while vertically hanging, or use it just like a traditional iron, steaming horizontally. The unique iron head design provides a beautiful finish for sleeves and collars, with or without an ironing board.
Many garment steamers produce heat in the base and, as steam moves up to the head, steam can cool resulting in an inconsistent flow of steam, frequent water leakage and mild temperatures. The Panasonic NI-FS900 uses an innovative water pump in the base which moves water directly to the head where it is heated, producing higher temperature steam for maximum performance. The iron head is heated to a high 200 degree F temperature, making it extremely effective in removing wrinkles in natural fabrics.
The 2-in-1 Garment Steamer is equipped with a steam level adjustment so that even delicate fabrics can be given a gentle steam. Plus a quick start function produces heat in 60 seconds, so a user can rapidly steam their clothes without worrying about running late.
The Panasonic NI-FS900 will be available in June 2013. Pricing and retail availability will be announced prior to ship date. For additional information on Panasonic home appliance products, visit www.Panasonic.com.
