TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

A south Georgia college looks to the future by celebrating its past.

Friday night, ABAC wrapped up a day of events marking the rededication of the three original buildings from the 1908 campus. Tift, Lewis, and Herring Halls are renovated and back in use.

ABAC Public Relations Director Ashley Mock said, "We've now got classes back open on the front of campus which they have not been on the front campus in a very long time. The Stafford School of Business is in Lewis Hall, and so it's really exciting for the students to be able to have classes here in the original buildings just like students did back in 1908."

Friday night's events included An Evening for ABAC dinner, a Concert in the Meadows, and fireworks over Tift Hall.
