SEMINOLE COUNTY -

Donalsonville is making progress in recovering from a devastating fire that ripped through part of downtown, destroying businesses almost two years ago.

Seven businesses destroyed by the April 2011 fire relocated.

The area has been razed and the city is now working on a plan to build a new building on that site.

The mayor says they're not ready to announce anything yet but they hope to finalize some big plans soon.
