Donalsonville bank robbed

DONALSONVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Peoples South Bank on Highway 91 in Donalsonville was robbed about 1:30.

The robbers stole a bank employee's white Denali and led law officers on a high speed chase up to 125 MPH into Iron City area.

One man went inside the bank with a small handgun, wearing black jogging pants, tennis shoes, and sun glasses. He is a black man, about 30-40, 160-200 lbs.

They drove behind a house and ditched the Denali in a field and took off running.

A manhunt is underway in the northeastern part of Seminole County around Hornsburg Road in Iron City.

Then robbers arrived at the bank in dark blue or brown SUV and left it there.

It was later spotted away from the bank.
