ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
The nation's largest used car dealership is coming to Albany.
Tuesday, city commissioners unanimously voted to rezone part of Ledo Road to make way for a new Carmax Dealership.
It's expected to create 20 to 30 jobs.
Carmax officials say they like what the Albany offers.
"It's a market that came up because of the size, we're trying to expand our concept and build stores in smaller markets. We liked the area and decided this is a place we'd like to come," said Carmax Real Estate Representative Keith Henderson.
Henderson says the next step is an administrative site plan approval.
Carmax does not yet have a target date to open the new dealership.
