ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -

The TLC reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is capturing the attention of audiences worldwide.

The show recently premiered in Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg in January.

It also premiered across Asia-Pacific on Jan. 31 and in Poland on Feb. 13.

Upcoming premieres are scheduled for Italy, Sweden and across Latin America in March.

The star of the show, Alana Thompson, began her rocket ride to stardom when she appeared on the fifth season premiere of Toddlers & Tiaras.

The network TLC decided to give Honey Boo Boo and her entire family their very own show.

The show was so popular that about 2.2 million viewers tuned in for the series premiere on Aug. 8.

The Thompson family lives in McIntyre, GA, which has a population of 650 people.

Even with the fame, the family plans to live in the same house and Alana is still attending the same school.

CBS Atlanta News interviewed the Thompson family before and after the reality show took off.

Mother June Shannon explained that it's important to keep the family grounded, even though they are getting recognized worldwide.

According to Honey Boo Boo's Facebook fan page, her latest business venture has been supporting the sale of Girl Scout cookies in her community.

According to a Facebook post on Tuesday, the cookies are $3.50 + shipping. All boxes are autographed by the family and include autograph family photo.
