Worth County schools are closed Monday, and several other counties have followed suit for Tuesday.

Atkinson Co. (for students only) Baconton Community Charter (for students. Faculty and Staff should report at 9AM) Baker Ben Hill Berrien (for students only. Employees are asked to come to work if possible.) Brooks Clinch Colquitt Coffee Co. Community Christian Academy (Adel) Cook Early Echols Irwin County (teachers and staff report by 9 am) Lanier Liberty Faith Christian Academy (Moultrie) Lowndes County Mitchell (Faculty and Staff are required to report to work @ 9:00 a.m.) Moultrie Tech (all campuses Monday night, Tuesday) Pataula Charter Academy Pelham City Schools Potter House Preschool (Tifton) Bundle of Love Daycare Tift county Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus) Tift Tift Area Academy Turner Wiregrass Tech (Monday night and Tuesday) Worth (240-day and 230-day employees should report to work. Weatherwise, the strongest in the series of storm will start our work week. Rain, heavy at times today to heavy rain and strong storms overnight into tomorrow will highlight the appreciable weather.
Rain totals will average another 4 to 6 inches. However higher totals are possible.
Flash Flooding is possible. Severe threat will lie mostly in damaging winds, but an isolated Tornado cannot be ruled out.
Drier weather finally returns and should last for the rest of the work week.
