BROOKS COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

A drug raid took a lot of drugs off the streets of Brooks County.

A father and son and the father's girlfriend now all face multiple charges.

A night raid on February 5th turned out to be a lucrative drug bust for the Brooks County Sheriff's Office. Two pounds of marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, nearly $10,000 in cash, 20 guns, three four-wheelers, and four vehicles were all seized.

"I hate to see people mess their lives up with drugs, and being born and raised in Brooks County, most of the folks dealing in this county I've known for years," said Sheriff Mike Dewey.

For Dewey, this bust came as a shock. Patrick Newell and his son Anthony were both arrested as well as the father's girlfriend, Sienna Holloway.

"I just regret that I've known them all my life and didn't even suspect them of doing this," said Dewey.

Officials say they had been investigating this case for about a month, but had no idea when they raided the home they would find so many drugs.

"Especially all of the guns, being that one was fully automatic, some were stolen, a stolen four-wheeler, you know we had no idea it was going to be as big as it was," said Dewey.

Dewey says a few tipsters led them to the Pine Branch Lane home. He believes the trio were a big source for the community's access to drugs.

"With that much marijuana, crack, power, methamphetamine, I would think it's a one stop shop," said Dewey.

There are 18 charges total between the three including intent to distribute, and possession of stolen property. All three have bonded out of jail on property bonds.

The trio is now waiting for a date to appear in court.
