THOMSON, GA (WFXG) -

The NTSB has just wrapped up their final on-site press conference regarding the plane crash in McDuffie County.

NTSB officials have confirmed that both pilots survived the crash. The five deceased victims were all passengers.

Officials said they don't know whether or not the plane initially touched down before the crash. The black box recorder has not been found yet.

Surveillance video that captured the crash is "grainy and dark," according to officials. That footage will be sent to the NTSB's DC Lab.

Five witnesses are being talked to, to determine what exactly they may have seen.

The weather at the time of the crash was decent, and the preceding flight was normal, officials said.

The NTSB will be looking at the pilot's prior 72 hours of living. The flight team will also be interviewed once they are capable, officials said.

The plane wreckage will be transferred to a secure location in Georgia for further investigation.
