A meteorite explosion or other natural disaster can wreak havoc with an electrical grid. In response to last week’s meteorite explosion in Russia that injured more than 1,000 people, Power4Patriots recommends that Americans consider generating their own solar and wind power.
Nashville, Tenn. (PRWEB) February 21, 2013
According to Fox News and other media outlets, a meteorite exploded above Russia’s Ural Mountains Feb. 15, 2013, producing sonic blasts, shattering windows and injuring approximately 1,100 people. The following day, Asteroid 2012 DA14 made the closest recorded pass of an asteroid to the Earth for a rock of its size.
Meteorites are capable of causing extensive damage to property and electrical grids, which have proven vulnerable to tornados, hurricanes and other storms. Power4Patriots suggests that Americans become independent of the grid by learning how to generate their own electricity through solar panels and wind turbines.
The Power4Patriots system is an environmentally friendly way to cut energy costs by as much as 75 percent while making a home, cabin or RV self-sufficient. The system is a collection of videos and manuals describing how to build solar panels, wind turbines, water heaters and solar heaters.
It includes six videos demonstrating how to build a solar panel, including choosing the right materials, finding the right site for the system and avoiding costly mistakes; 10 Frequently Asked Questions videos; and two instruction manuals with step-by-step, illustrated directions. It also includes four videos and two instruction manuals detailing how to build a wind turbine.
Check out this video that answers the question of whether solar panels and wind turbines will work on property that gets little sun and wind.
