(RNN) - A jet with seven on board originating from Nashville crashed Wednesday in east Georgia near Augusta, killing five.

The FAA reports the Hawker Beechcraft 390 jet ran off the end of the runway and crashed upon landing at about 8:30 p.m. at Thomson-McDuffie Regional Airport in Thomson.

Thomson-McDuffie County Sheriff Logan Marshall said two survivors were taken to area hospitals but did not comment on their conditions, according to AP reports.

He said the identities of those who died were being withheld pending notification of family members.

This happened a day after a plane from Atlanta ran off the taxiway in Savannah, Ga. According to WTOC, no injuries were reported in that mishap.

WTOC and the Associated Press contributed to this report.
