Economic development officials in Albany say this year's Georgia Quail Hunt was one of the best.
The event shows prospective job creators the best Georgia has to offer. EDC officials say this year attendance was up, which also provided a boost to the local economy.
About 30 prospects came to the three day event, which provides both short and long term economic benefits to Albany and Dougherty County.
"These are very good prospects and they're active prospects. And we continue to work on them everyday, that's our job," said Jay Smith, the EDC Chairman.
Over the years, Hunt guests have invested $2.6 billion and created more than 8,400 jobs in Georgia.
