ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Some elderly people in Albany got the chance to celebrate Valentine's day all over again.

Ebenezer Christian Center hosted it's sixth annual free valentine's dinner for all the elderly folks in the community Saturday afternoon.

Those, 50 years and older were invited to come listen to a gospel band and enjoy a free meal.

"Don't know how often that our elderly people get to enjoy things like this and maybe they can remember when they were younger. But what we try to do is try to make it as comfortable for them that they would have to enjoy it," says Pastor Charlie Williams.

The church also hands out free baskets for people in need every 5th Saturday.
