Saturday, South Georgia Pop Warner hosted it's first annual Family, Fun, and Fitness Day at the Albany Mall.
Parents were encouraged to come out and learn how to teach their kids to live healthier lives.
"Parents can come out and meet the coaches and meet the people on our board and ask questions. We have people in the fitness community also doing demonstrations," says Daniel Cruz President of South Georgia Pop Warner.
Fitness partners in the community also came out to put on workout demonstrations for children and their parents.
"The kids just have to have that example set for them so that they know that is not just something they can take lightly," says Owner of Curves Marie Krieser.
Pop Warner promotes healthy living for kids through their annual football and cheerleading program.
